These partitions have become the standard for economy space division for hospitality, corporate, medical, religious, and educational facilities.  While costing much less than operable panel type partitions, they are able to achieve moderate sound ratings.

Accordion Partitions are available in two styles.  The first is the laminated wood panel accordion partition which feature strong, durable, laminated wood panels hinged together utilizing vinyl hinges.  These partitions can be surfaced with vinyl, carpet, fabric, wood veneers, or decorative laminates and offer the highest sound ratings ranging from 38 to 50.

The second style of accordion partition is the fabric covered accordion partition.  These partitions feature welded steel pantograph framework and can be covered with vinyl, carpet, or fabrics,  These styles offer acoustical ratings from 35 to 40

Both styles offer moderate sound ratings and are excellent choices for space management with economy in mind.
